Whom is an Adventure Weekend For?
These mostly weekend activities are for people who are ready for a challenge and an adrenaline rush. You don’t need to be actively involved in sports or the outdoors, but it does help if you have a moderate level of fitness, a positive attitude and a willingness to have a go.
What will I do on an Adventure Weekend?
You will be introduced to a variety of outdoor activities. These could include kayaking, tramping, caving, rock-climbing, abseiling, high ropes, dirt biking, sky diving, scuba diving, canoeing etc; far too many options to fit into the programme!
The actual activities will be dependent on the weather and the groups’ abilities. These courses have an instructor participant ratio of 2:15 and where possible your group will be given a chance to choose what activities they want to do. All activities are facilitated by instructors with extensive training and experience, and they ensure the weekend fills participants with confidence and vitality.
After a full day of action and excitement, the evenings are a time to relax in fully catered facilities, with all the good comforts – including great company.
What are the benefits of an Adventure Weekend?
During your Adventure weekend programme, your instructor and your team will provide support for you to face fears and give new activities a go. You will develop confidence in your own abilities and team building skills that you can take away with you at the end of the programme and transfer to your home or work situation.
